Jon Olsen has served as Division Administrator of FMCSA’s Arizona Division since October of 2023, and he is also currently serving as acting Division Administrator for the Texas Division. Prior to joining FMCSA, he was with the Minnesota State Patrol for nearly twenty years. For over nine years, Jon was a Captain with the MN State Patrol, serving as Commander of the agency’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section. He was also involved with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, serving in multiple committee leadership positions during his tenure as Captain with the Patrol. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
