Bob began his career in the trucking industry in 1973 at IML Freight Lines loading trucks as he worked his way through The University of Utah. After graduation, Cunningham spent six years in sales and operations at Motor Cargo.
In 1985, Bob joined Swift Transportation where he served as executive vice president of sales and marketing, a member of the board of directors and later President and CEO. From 1997 to 2005, Cunningham owned and operated one of the nation’s most successful Freightliner truck dealerships.
In 2010, Bob purchased all three International® Truck dealerships and Idealease locations in Arizona.
2014 was a year of major growth with the addition of three locations in Southern California and the purchase of four locations in Washington and Alaska. In February 2015, we completed our northwest footprint with the addition of three more Washington stores.
2022 was another year of growth with the purchase of our 14th location in Pendleton, Oregon.
2024 produces more growth, as RWC Group returns to Washington with the purchase of three locations, and another fourth new location to open as well. The growing total of the RWC Group Dealership network will now reach 18 locations across 5 states.
